Between 2002-2004 Babes had a shop at 57 Redchurch St in Shoreditch. It was a hybrid space with Studio 1.1 gallery (who are still there) and Very Up & Co. It was fun and very cool, and a million miles away from the vibe of a ‘sex shop’, perhaps it was because of this, or because it was awkwardly situated next to a mosque, that it didn’t last. It was kind of magical while it did though.

We love sports at Babes HQ, and our studio is a stones throw from the London 2012 stadium. That was all the excuse we needed to make a union flag harness, and the legendary Stan Leather was all the man we needed to make it.
